Since 1959, St Thomas Home for Children has provided care and protection for vulnerable children. Our purpose is to give each child a true sense of belonging in a loving family environment.

We are a registered non-profit organisation and Child and Youth Care Centre at 5 Williamson Place in Sydenham, Durban. The Home is registered to accommodate 60 children aged 2 to 10, with residential care available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Children come to us from communities across eThekwini and rural KwaZulu-Natal. We offer a safe, stable environment and support their educational, emotional, physical and spiritual development.
