Volunteer opportunities

Where you can help.

Learning & homework

Help with reading, literacy, numeracy and homework. The report makes a special appeal to education students, graduates and tutors.

Music, arts & sport

Share music and instrumental lessons, dance, drama, painting, storytelling or sport coaching.

Holiday programmes & events

Help plan enriching activities, outings and celebrations, building on the successful Easter programme.

Practical skills & maintenance

Offer gardening, mechanics, plumbing, electrical work, painting or other maintenance skills.

Cooking & administration

Support the everyday work of the Home with cooking, administration, finance or general assistance.

Charity drives & collections

Help with sorting donated goods or supporting charity drives. Contact the office to discuss what is needed.
